After viewing my classmates' digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on my work, some new ideas and perspectives I gained about my poster is that many of my classmates like the color scheme and format I used for my poster. This feedback influenced the way I think about my creative choices  because I will continue to use bright and appealing colors whenever I do a project.

While completing the simile and metaphor worksheet, the topic that challenged me the most was the finding your identity part because I feel like I haven't really discovered my identity yet. I think that I know myself as far as my personality and things I like but I'm not sure what I want to truly become in the future. However, this uncertainty helped inspire my figurative language.

Today I created similes and metaphors that reflect my struggles, growth and resilience. Through doing this I learned many things about myself. One thing I learned was that even when I am faced with struggles, I don't let it discourage me and instead I let it motivate me instead. I also learned that I am a quiet and reserved person and sometimes I feel like I don't fit in with the crowd.

Over the break, I mainly just took this time to rest and get some sleep. I found that the break went by fast because I spent most of my days sleeping. However I don't regret it because throughout the school weeks I find myself feeling very tired and fatigued. By taking this time to rest, I feel refreshed and have a clear mindset to take on the rest of the school year.

I would choose a curated playlist , a notebook , and a warm cup of tea to show how I care. The playlist represents my habit of paying attention to your moods and sharing things that might make your day better. The notebook shows that I value your thoughts and want to help you organize your brightest ideas. Finally, the tea symbolizes my calm and steady personality, offering a sense of comfort whenever you need to focus or relax.

Writing this rhetorical analysis essay has definitely boosted my confidence by showing me how to break down tough arguments into smaller pieces. I realized that using a planning guide makes drafting much smoother because my evidence and main points are already organized. This experience taught me how to look past the surface of a speech to find the speaker's true intentions and strategy.

Analyzing the rhetorical situation was the most helpful step because it provided the necessary context for the entire speech. I learned that understanding the speaker's persona and the audience's needs reveals the underlying motivation behind the message. This improved my ability to see the speech as a strategic reaction to a specific moment rather than just a collection of words. By establishing this foundation, I can now accurately evaluate whether the speaker's choices truly resonate with their intended listeners.

In spirit of valentines week, the perfect day spent with someone I care about is first waking up and then getting ready for the day. After we finish getting ready, we would go out to eat breakfast or brunch, then we would go shopping for the whole day, getting whatever we want, then go out to dinner. Then at the end of the day, we would go home and make a haul of everything we got. Lastly, we will watch movies and eat snacks until we fall asleep.

The best of advice my parent or guardian has given me is to listen more than you speak  to truly understand others. I asked for this guidance after a misunderstanding with a close friend made me realize I was too focused on my own point of view. After taking her advice, I was able to build a much deeper and more empathetic understanding on how others may feel.

The most challenging part about working with a group is people having different goals. Often, one person does too much while another does nothing. I once worked on a project where we did not talk enough. Everyone did their own thing without checking in. When we put it all together, the parts did not fit. It was a mess and we had to start over. I learned that we should keep a line of open communication and start early so we will have time to fix anything if needed.

For me, the most challenging part about writing an essay is the thesis. This part is the most challenging for me because the thesis is arguably the most important part of the essay. It sets you up for what you're going to write for the rest of the essay. To overcome this, I first think of a claim and then think of 3 pieces of evidence I can use to support said claim, and then put it together in 1-2 sentences.

A moment in my life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story was when I moved from Texas to Georgia. Although I was born in Georgia and have friends here, my strongest connections were with the friends I had met in middle school over the years I lived there. When I moved back to Georgia, I was still able to rekindle with some old friends, but I had to make a new start with a new school, house, and environment. Although it was sad to leave my old life behind, there is always something refreshing and exciting about moving and having a fresh start.
